Is it true that Jesus is the Son of God? Is it true that He taught as no other person taught? Is it true that He did what no other person had done? Is it true that He lived as no other person had lived? The answers are yes, yes, yes and again yes.
Is it true that Jesus died on a cross outside the city of Jerusalem? Is it true that He was buried in a borrowed tomb? Is it true that He rose triumphant from the grave? Is it true that He is exalted at the right hand of God the Father? The answers are yes, yes, yes and again yes.
The evidence is found in the historical biblical record. The evidence is found in the eyewitness accounts. The evidence is found in the lives of those early disciples who lived and died for their faith. Most important, the evidence is found in the hearts and minds and lives of today’s Christians.
Easter Sunday is a day to appreciate the greatness of GOD. Easter Sunday is a day to celebrate a miracle. Easter Sunday is a day to give thanks for God’s redeeming love. Easter Sunday is a day to rejoice that Jesus is alive for all time. Easter Sunday is a day to witness to the world with our voices and our lives.

During the month of April, we will be collecting items for the Baptist Children’s Homes Food Roundup. This is a very important ministry to help restock the pantries of the Children’s Homes across North Carolina. There will be two containers in the foyer for your donations, one for food and personal care items and one for cleaning supplies. There is a list of needed items in your bulletins today. (This has been shortened from previous years). Please make sure food expiration dates are as far off as possible. As well as items listed, gift cards to Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Food Lion, Lowes, Ingles and Piggly Wiggly will be very much appreciated. You can give gift cards to Bobbie White. Donations are due by Sunday, April 26. Thank you so much for participating in this ministry!
